For a Jaipur Itinerary minimum of 2 complete days for sightseeing would be necessary. Just walking around the Pink City, visiting the City Palace, local markets. For visiting the forts you have to go outside the city. We hired a Tuk-tuk and we visited Amber Fort, Step Wells, Water Temple, and Monkey Temple. We could go for sunset to the Tiger Fort or Naharfarh Fort but the weather wasn’t really good.
