Jaipur Itinerary: How Many Days Should I Spend in Jaipur
For a Jaipur Itinerary minimum of 2 complete days for sightseeing would be necessary. Just walking around the Pink City, visiting the City Palace, local markets. And maybe shopping can take the whole morning. You can visit the Hawa Mahal around sunset. So you will see the lights at night from a rooftop which is quite beautiful.
For visiting the forts you have to go outside the city. We hired a Tuk-tuk and we visited Amber Fort, Step Wells, Water Temple, and Monkey Temple. We could go for sunset to the Tiger Fort or Naharfarh Fort but the weather wasn’t really good.
If you want to explore the places with more time. If you want to shop or explore other areas you will have to stay 3-5 days since Jaipur is a big city. It’s easy to move around the city with local buses, tuk-tuks and taxis. You can check here all the essential places to visit in Jaipur in one day.
